I take it you didn't see Harry's Heroes on iTV during the week? The Parisian Club the 'boys' played was an eye opener...."...don't look, Ethel..."

No indeed @steveTu, not a massive TV watcher but having googled it I see what you mean!  Spoilt I'm afraid by the socks

You shouldn't have looked Ethel......That will now be imprinted on your brain.
Wasn't Seaman's reaction the right one though? - they were all England professionals...

Didn't read the blurb @steveTu too fixated on the picture!  Who is Seaman?

David Seaman played for Woowich and England - goalkeeper. He was the only England 'old boy' to refuse to play against that Parisian bunch.... The rest actually played

The silence has gone. I can hear a slight hum of traffic even though the S Circular is about half a mile away. I thought it was tinnitus😕

Footballers in a communal shower - now there's an image it will be hard to shift
    or even better: rugby players!

Stop it! I just shift that image and along comes someone else  :D

Back indoors with more tea, wind dropped and just getting going when I got absolutely drenched. Think my guardian spirit is trying to tell me something.
