I watched the 'choir boy'. All that was missing was the halo.
Apart from the fact that his story had more holes than a hosta in slug  city, the following things occurred to me:
    1. If your healthy family wanted to help, why didn't they come down to you?

    2. If you're worried about your eyesight, why would you drive?

     3. There is a high level of culpability  of the press if this story leads to a breakdown of lockdown.
I'm not saying that they should have buried the news, but the prominence given to it by their understandable loathing of the man meant that it was brought to the attention of oiks looking for an excuse to get out and about.
I think we're geared up to find out whether herd immunity is effective

It really looks like lockdown is over in all but name in my area. There's only a couple of houses in the street now who aren't getting regular visitors with no social distancing. We went for a walk earlier and there's gangs of teenagers everywere playing loud music and drinking with no worry about distancing from each other or people walking past. Three little kids of about 5 or 6 came running up to us and had no idea about distancing and when their mum finally caught up she didn't care either. Almost everyone we passed didn't bother to even try and make some space between us. An overweight old couple had parked themselves on a stone right by a pinch point in the path and were happily smoking away and chatting with everyone who had to squeeze past. Add to that the masses of litter building up now and the dog crap problem has increased tenfold since lockdown with all the extra dog walkers using the area. I've totally lost faith in humanity today. :|

It's depressing , @wild edges. Let's hope that in the survival of the fittest, brains count for something too.

Same down here, despite warning signs that sea was rough and not to go in due to lifeguards not being able to work yet, three deaths from drowning, others air lifted, fatal road accident, 2 motorcyclists ,  what’s wrong with people?
Then there’s the terrible fires someone started that with a BBQ in the woods.

One of the hills near me is spewing smoke again no doubt set alight by marauding chavs. It's only just recovering from the last fire.
