Maybe this should be on Covid-19...
I am a football 'fan' - I like watching football. But who is deciding whether certain industries have to adopt the social distancing rules? You can't play football without breaking the rules. You can't fly in a plane (with normal seating arrangements) without breaking the rules. So can factories and offices then simply ignore the advice and have employees within a few feet of each other?
I really can't see how some industries (like football..and most collective sports, air travel - bulk travel in general) can work, or even be thinking about working, unless the social distancing thing is dropped completely. And what sort of message does it give to the general public if those industries are allowed, while family members may not be 'allowed' to see each other?

The advice is "social distancing where possible".  Maybe footballers should have to wear masks and goggles (in place of visors).  I'd love to see that.
I was a great cartoon yesterday.  A 'mature' lady teacher in front of her class of snotty nosed kids, with another child outside with a sign saying "Miss you Granny".

It would be a great game with social distancing.... Spurs have kick-off - it's Alli to Kane - and Kane is running the length of the half - and the keeper moves out of his way...and HE SCORES! 1-0 Spurs. Arsenal have kick off - it's Lowqualitycasseette to Wheresmyboomerangone and he's running the length of the half and Lloris gets out of the way...and HE SCORES!
Repeat above...how many kick offs can you get in 90 minutes? - and what about that time wasting when you have the ball, it's 100-100 and you know if you score and waste the last few seconds...it's Kane with the last kick of the match and...the keeper moves out of the way..101-100 to Spurs.
    I dreamt that last night...

How could they play without spitting on the pitch? I suppose they could do it in their masks.

Does that disgust you as much as it does me? You wouldn't want to fall over on a professional football pitch - or be the kit man after they've used their shirts as handkerchiefs (ieves)?) - would you?

I am officially fed up with chasing stuff round the garden! Time for a cup of tea I think.

Footballers in a communal shower - now there's an image it will be hard to shift
