SGL, you all did really well in the quiz. 9/10 is very good indeed! Hazel I fastened in some of my clematis stems this morning before the cold drove me in. The wind is blowing a hooley here. Glad you enjoyed the film too. Look what I spotted Col TT having done:

Hello T'bird, your last post wasn't there when I posted mine. You have been busy and sounds like the 'Good Life' when I see the list of food plants you are growing. Maybe the ash tree is depleting the supplies of food and water to your beech hedge. Has it managed to escape ash die back so far? I told brother about Stuart the stone. He was very amused. I notice that we are approaching our 1000 posts so I will be starting off Resurrected 93 shortly.

My hair grows the standard half inch a month.  Its a bit ironic, I was blond so went white, not grey, I used to have blond lo lights added, hubby was thinking of retiring last year, (hes only just 63, so not actual retirement age as such) so I thought belt tighening, will leave my hair white, so at least no worries over the colour, but I had a fringe cut.  I have been buying coloured shampooo, as opposed to hair colour, at the moment its smokey, which is a mauvy grey, last year was pale pink, got so many comliments, even the lady in the local chemist said she loved it.My youngest daughter had hi lights but into her hair and tried very hard to go grey, which of course is the big fahion colour.  I wouldnt risk cutting anything but the fringe
