Yviestevie my bee house has taken a long while to see any occupants in fact I had resigned myself to thinking it never would, Iâm sure youâll get some in time. Lily it sounds like your chat was very entertaining with the poppets this morning, I canât believe that your 3rd is 9 months already where did that time go đŻ
Evening all.Canât believe another week has gone already. Seem to have so many jobs to do that Iâm busy from the time I get up until gin oâclock. Did manage a coupleof hours in the garden with my book this afternoon though - still out there now - itâs a gorgeous eveningđ Sorry to hear Debs is taking a break (come back soon) but good news about Chey. Lovely to hear about the ducklings LB - I saw my first little family on the way back from the SM on Monday. Tiny balls of yellow fluffđ„°
My nice story for today - Head deep down in the front border this morning when I heard a young family approaching. Donât know them but I looked up to say Hello. Parents looked a little embarassed because little Molly (about 18 mths old) was having a bit of a tantrum as they tried to drag her on their walk. Turns out little Molly has taken a real shine to one largish pebble in my âbeach borderâ on the verge and (to keep the peace) the parents had been allowing her to pick it up and take it for a walk đ€Ș before carefully replacing it on the way back. Always the same stone - been going on for weeks. Of course she was given permission to take the pebble for itâs daily exercise whenever she wanted. Might have to ask when itâs her birthday - good cheap present that oneđ
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Hi Topbird, I was thinking exactly the same this afternoon. Considering we're not going anywhere, the weeks are going really quickly.. Today seems to have whizzed by. Love the story of the little girl and the pebble đ€
LB/Topbird itâs lovely to hear about the ducklings. Â Chive good to hear the bee house is slowly filling up. Â It would be good if the bees can fill all the holes. Â Another warm day. Â Lily itâs good youâve enjoyed time with poppet, until the next time.
Good evening to all. It was almost perfect day. Once again I look like a human been after haircut. There was a lot of hard work in the garden, but I'm relaxed, tired but relaxed. Now I'm going to make No. 7 from the quiz. Poirot will be soon.
Here is some lovely flowers for you. Tulips are still beautiful and here is another columbine.
Hello Rosie, yes it was a very nice afternoon and then I got another surprise later on, I got a text from my Bestie's DIL saying there was a little gift on my doorstep for me. When I went to look there was a little rainbow coloured cardboard box with 3 (all different) cupcakes in it. Hazel, I didn't know that your OH was an artist. It is good to have hobbies though, especially now. Do you mean The Darkest Hour Hazel? Chive I spotted a bee investigating one of my bee houses today. Love watching them. SGL, I'll bet it was fab chatting to the Poppets today. Just to see their little faces must have been priceless. T'Bird, I just love that story about the littl girl and the pebble. How sweet is that? Maybe you should paint a little face on it. Ante, I hope you don't get cold in your head now you have had your haircut and thank you for posting the pictures of those gorgeous flowers. The dark pink one on the right looks as if it has exploded!
