Good morning SGL, you weren't there either! Very weird behaviour this morning. My milkman supplies eggs so there hasn't been any problem so far. The dried fruit I used in my Spicy Fruit Loaf the other day was leftovers from C*******s cake baking. The pack was unopened so I decided to get it used up. I've got some bread flour arriving today so I'll use up the other half of the fruit in making another loaf.

Planted out four big pots of various primrose types into my front garden. Whilst I was working I could hear men talking but for the life of me I don't know where they were. It sounded like across the road so it was probably two neighbours nattering across their garden divides. Sound seems to be travelling further with the lack of traffic on the lane. In for a drink now. The picture of the moon I took over my Acer. The spiky bits at the top are the flower bud sprays of one of my rambling roses. It will be lovely when they all open as the scent is divine.

LB i hope you’ll soon be reunited with your car.  I know it will be good for you.  Hazel it was good for you both to spend time remembering ohs aunt and a planting her memory is very nice indeed.  The slate plaque I ought Ed is now in the garden just above where he rests.  He is much missed.  Debs it’s good that fiancé is keeping busy I can understand and it’s good for your son and you spending time in the fresh air.  They are such a help for you.  Just hang in there during this time.  Chive I hope you have a successful trip to the sm.  my sister brought me some brioche and rustic bread to bake which was gratefully received.  Lily are you spending time in the fresh air while the weather is good?  I hope you can.    It’s a lovely day and I’ve had a small glass of wine which seems to have gone straight to my head.

Afties all. Two mechanics arrived at 11:40, jump started my car and drove it away. At least it went! I had visions of them having to get the recovery truck. I'm waiting now for a phone call to say it has been resuscitated. I do have to confess that when I heard  they were coming I dashed upstairs to change out of my gardening scruff and into something that looked less Wurzel Gummidge like. I have finished potting on all of my tomatoes now so that's another job I can cross off the 'to do' list. I'm going to post the Quiz questions at 17:00.
