Hi all, just got in from work it’s definitely slowing down though obviously high demand for deliveries. I am working just 3 hours tomorrow as it’s bank holiday, only 2 staff needed they asked for volunteers and as I didn’t work over Easter I agreed to it. Then I have a week off cannot wait most plans are cancelled but the garden is there and the allotment and the decorating isn’t going anywhere so I will be a busy bunny.

    Afternoon all.
I wasn't around here last two days because I had a lot of obligations. I see that I missed a lot of nice photos and quiz, ofcourse. It's quite warm outside, but next week will be much lower temperature with rain.
Something weird happened to me last Tuesday. I told you that I have appointment with hairdresser next Tuesday, so I went to cottage. My phone rang and it was hairdresser. She asked my  why I didn't came to haircut. Apparently she mentioned that it will be this week, not next. Lucky for me, she has free term this Saturday.
From next Monday restaurants, hotels and cafes will be open again.

How are you all? Did I missed something important?

Evening Ante. There will be another quiz on Saturday. What a mix up with your Tuesdays Ante! At least you will get your haircut on Saturday - errrrm are you SURE its this Saturday It is nice to hear that things are slowly getting back to normal where you are. I am getting my pan ready for 'Clap for Carers' at 20:00.
Debs, you will enjoy your week off work but remember that a wintry spell has been forecast from Sunday.
My Bestie sent me a picture of her house - all decorated for the VE celebration tomorrow. It looks marvellous.

Lots of people clapping and banging pans etc. There was even two bangs....which sounded like gunfire from nearer the woods.....hopefully they were for the NHS and not someone shooting their wife/husband đŸ˜‰đŸ€
Beautiful day today, still really warm at 6.30 when I went out to put the chairs away.
Glad your car is ok LB

Lots of people out here too SGL but less fireworks than last week. Friend across the road said that maybe they were saving them for V E Day tomorrow. There are a few clouds in the sky but its a lovely evening.

    Good morning.
It will be another lovely day. I must repot few plants and soak the garden. The soil is getting dry very quickly. It should be easier day than yesterday.

LB, I'm glad that your car is fix. Thanks for the link above. It's much better to watch that, and more interesting than tv.

Here is one rose for you all.
