Now self medicating with some of my vintage cider - 2015 vintage, the first with my then new cider apple trees, Michelin and Dabinnet. Got some 2017 vintage lined up as standby but as they are both about 8% ABV I might leave those for another day. :p

Fabulous garden @Hostafan1, Commiserations @steephill and @DOrdogne_ Damsel, hope you're not too scarred, vintage cider sounds good as well.

Like your new footpath @Busy-Lizzie, but what happens if you meet somebody - climb a tree?!!!

I met one woman and a girl on a horse but there were places you could stand in the cow parsley. That was the narrowest bit.

Steehill, I am coming round!!Morning all, first day with out sun and blue sky, very grey out there, bit chilly 7.6c.  Did lots of gardening yesterday, (and I will be honest quite a bit of sitting on a lounger in th sun!) Unofrtunately, got up to hear a  (NHS)colleague is very seriously ill and ventilated. Hope all the very best for him and anyone else out there, with this b****d,

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
An overcast morning here ... doesn’t seem chilly ... mind you I’m still in bed in my fluffy purple dressing gown with my ☕️    ... OH has just come back from a thrash around the block on his bike ...
I may sow the runner beans in pots today ... they’ll go on the heated propagator base on the dining room windowsill ... and the chillies will need pricking out any day now. I’m always a bit surprised that they get going more slowly than the toms, despite germinating first.  Maybe next year I should sow them a bit earlier ... 🤔

Morning all/afties Pat if you're there
When can I move in @chicky? It's about the size of my house  :D
You'll be starting a tv show of your own with all your doings in there. Beautiful  :)
Good to see 'The Rock' again @Hostafan. It's all looking very luxurious now. Hard work.

Grey here too. Warmer start than it's been for a while though. We've only had one night in the last ten days that's been above 4 degrees, until last night. I hope it's not so warm today. I had to come inside yesterday afternoon. Us pasty folk up here aren't built for this, you know. I could see the southern hills more clearly yesterday, so the fire doesn't seem to have caught on again thankfully.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Morning all.  Afternoon Pat - days of celebration are a bit different this year, aren't they?  Good to remember, though.

Our gardens have never looked so good!  @chicky, that greenhouse is so beautiful... only the most aristocratic plants should be grown in it, I reckon.   :)   And @Hostafan1 's borders are looking terrific.  The Rock looks as if it spent all its existence in that position, too.

More sun today, though we are predicted (wait for it...) 0.2mm of rain at 6pm.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
