Yes - I've done that before, but to make caster sugar. I only have a small blender now, so it would have been a drag. I don't really use granulated anyway, so I doubt I'd have had enough.Ā  :)

Don't think I said good morning this morning.
Glad I'm not the only one @Lizzie27 !

    Welcome to Forkers @PurpleRose

@Obelixx, I get articles from "The Figaro" Newspaper and France Info everyday, also "The Times". I've read other articles via "Google" I have read that the UK is doing more testing for Coronavirus than France. I think, from what my daughter is France says, that the French have run down the British response to the virus. My daughter seemed to think I would have been safer in France. I don't think so, we've been self isolating in our Norfolk cottage. The French are also short of masks etc.
Went out in the car today for the first time for 2 weeks to see where the click and collect is at the supermarket as we will have to do it on Sunday. There was hardly anyone about. Even when I go walking on the bridle paths behind our cottage for exercise I rarely see anyone.

Don't get either French TV or newspapers here and I've decided we can have too much news @Busy-Lizzie so I keep an eye on local developments cos of the patch group and ignore the rest.   The only hotspots in the Vendée are where Parisians fled to their second homes before lockdown.  Clever so a rise in cases in Noirmoutier and les Sables d'Olonne but none here yet and no-one in the holiday homes here either but then they don't come from Paris anyway.

We are staying isolated except for my weekly shop so our main worry is Possum, stuck on her own in Namur.Ā  She seems fine so far but I wonder how long she can carry on coping in total isolation apart from her FB and Instagram contacts with us and friends.

    Evening all.

After a shift in full PPE, I was so grateful to have some fresh air and little bit of sunshine on my journey home - it’s the little things! I have a week off now, if my leave isn’t cancelled šŸ¤žšŸ¼ (but I will probably do a couple of shifts to help out).Ā

    Hope you are all ok!Ā

Looks yummy @Fairygirl .Ā  I've just eaten a smarties Easter egg.Ā  Hubby did the weekly shop today and bought me a supply of chocolate.Ā  I can do without most things but chocolate is not one of them.Ā  I'm aching after my endeavours in the garden today.Ā  My new windowsill self watering trays have arrived so tomorrow I'll probably be potting up some more seedlings.
@AuntyRach hope you manage to get a few days relaxation in, you must be shattered.

Hope you get a good couple of days to recharge the batteries @AuntyRach......and to eat lots and lots of cake šŸ°Ā

@Yviestevie we had a family games night via zoom last week - great fun. Got another one planned for Saturday night šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰. Ā I have self watering seed trays .....a wonderful invention. Ā Happy sowing.

Was heading out to garden today, but helped MrC move a big box first and felt a ā€œtwingeā€ in my back. Ā Decided to play it safe and sit inside instead. Ā Feels fine now, so maybe garden playtime tomorrow.

Meanwhile the cross stitch continues apace .....two more flowers to do .....

Yummy looking cake @Fairygirl - I must get myself organised and make one, trouble is, I would then want to eat it!
Enjoy the rest and have a long lie in tomorrow @AuntyRach , I'm sure you deserve it.
