    Morning all/afties Pat  :)
Oh @chicky. I thought things came in threes. Surely you've had more than that in the last few years? You're getting someone else's share. Sending lots of fairy dust your way, for all of you x
That looks stunning @D0rdogne_Damsel. You're doing a great job. Have you taken over another plot yet, so that Charlie has room for all his lettuce?  ;)
Daughter working an hour earlier today, so have to go soon. The buses just ain't playin' ball. I could do without it, but it's not a big deal. The two of them are often asked to come in to do extra too. A pity it's not at the same times  ;)
I thought you were getting some rain for overnight tonight @Hostafan1 , but it might not be far enough 'in', maybe just Cornwall.
Another cheeky wee frost here, but it's lifted at the back. The front should be fine in an hour or two. More plotting, planning and planting today. I keep getting distracted with other things...

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning all, Bright and sunny today.  Didn't get a good night as house smells of paint, even with the windows open.  Hubby glossed part of the Hall, we're debating whether to buy some breatheasy paint even though we have enough trade paint to finish the job.  Hope everything is OK @chicky
    Good news about grandson @Hostafan1
    New sunshade looks good @D0rdogne_Damsel
Not sure what I'm going to get up to today feel a bit lost for some reason.

Morning all 😀.  Very pleased that the wee Hosta is back home and doing well 👍🏻.

Antibiotics didn’t work, so appendix coming out some time today.  Will be an anxious day ....if I carry on stitching at this rate I could recreate the Bayeux tapestry

Totally agree about support from my friends on here.  Always important to me, but especially so since the world has gone crazy.  So huge thanks to every one of you 🤗🤗🤗

    Thinking of @chicky ‘s family xx 🤞

@Yviestevie ... if you’re feeling a bit lost you could peel a few spuds for me while I make the bread, and we’ll listen to the Archers together 🤗 ☕️ ☕️

Chicky, sorry it has to come out after all, but in the end it’s probably better to get it over and done with. Horrible being a parent when they are sick.
    Glad you liked my photos.
    Take care everyone. 🥰

Morning folks. I’m just pottering about inside until it warms up a bit, then I will dosing-up on Vitamin D and fresh air.

Keep cool @chicky - displacement activities are the way to go!

    Nice pics @Pat E.

    Lovely spot there @D0rdogne_Damsel.

Take care everyone - have a relaxing day.

Whoops!  Just occasionally the studio’s role as a temporary greenhouse causes a problem ... as I was kneading the bread dough there was a clatter and The Artist uttered an expletive ... I have just potted up a dozen Sungolds ... again .. fortunately as they were only pricked out less than 48 hours ago their roots hadn’t got ‘bedded in’ to the compost and they appear just fine. 😎

Today's dribble has been serious rain so far and tomorrow's series of dribbles seem to have gone away so today has become a cleaning and laundry day.   Makes a change from mucky hands and knees but nowhere near as much fun.

An anxious few days coming up then @chicky.  Worrying enough at at any time.  All the best to you all for a successful outcome.

Minor by comparison but Possum is getting over her latest paddy by sleeping a lot.  One way to deal with stress but not ideal for working on her thesis and project.   She's young, on her own for 5 weeks now and more to come, no family nearby, all friends scarpered home to their families, streets empty, no safe green space, no pets or mum to hug.  Doing well, all things considered, but still hard.

We all need to find ways thru this and the community feel on here certainly helps so thanks everyone.

Not making bread today but having a go at brining a chicken.

Enjoy your gardens everyone and good luck to all trying out new culinary skills.
