Struggling a bit here emotionally, just over powering sense of sadness, even reading your posts can be sad. @Yviestevie & @punkdoc, so terribly sad.
But, ever onwards, I've picked up some beautiful healthy plug plants for Charlie today, lettuce, broccoli & cauliflower, plus peppers and aubergine and one cucumber. They even smuggled me in a bag of compost (sorry@fairygirl) but it was all done online, I paid online and I drove in (5 minutes from home) and the box of goodies was on a pallet for me to pick up without any interaction with a human. Me and the lady in charge waved at each other from a 10 metre distance. They have a huge greenhouse full of stuff sitting there, gosh so sad.
I'm so missing human contact.
I've painted my public toilet, I've cuddled my cats, both need de-flea-ing but I can't bring myself to squirt them with stuff they hate when they're very obviously feeling my pain.
I'm struggling to see an end to all this and desperately seeking solace in my garden.
Hugs to everyone. Take care, stay home. 😘😘😘

Chin up @D0rdogne_Damsel. You are well and have a home, a son, cats and a garden and business whose re-opening you can plan. Count your blessings and think positive. We all must keep calm and be pragmatic at the least and optimistic at best in order to get thru this.

There will be more @D0rdogne_Damsel , and worse, but we have to carry on and do our bit to isolate ourselves, reduce the spread and live on and make things better.

Hubby wasn’t in bed, so I wandered out to the living room and he was there having a coffee. Said he woke up thirsty. He told me that BoJo was in intensive care. What will happen to his partner? Doesn’t sound good,
DD, sorry you’re feeling miserable. At least everyone is in the same boat. Do some jigsaws or teach Charliscsome card games that you can both play for entertainment. 😃
must try to get some more sleep. I was woken by a nightmare. 5 degrees outside, I’ve been informed by Hubby.
Big hugs for @D0rdogne_Damsel ... you’re not alone ... we’re all here 👋 🍷 🍰 I had ambitions to paint our downstairs loo, but I’ve got a trapped nerve on my neck/back that is giving me merry hell in my shoulder ... so if you’ve still got the brushes out ... 😉
@Pat E apparently his partner also has it and is at the PM’s country mansion. I’m sure she has someone with her.

Scary news .....willing him to pull through. Don’t agree with him on much, but would hate to see this disease take him ☹️
@D0rdogne_Damsel I have good times and bad times too, guess most of us do. A couple of hours in the garden always helps though - even if not actually gardening. Card games with Charlie sounds like a great idea ....by the end of all this you could turn him into a crack black jack player 😉. Our favourites are rummy, spoof (others call it sevens) and knock out whist ♠️♥️♣️♦️
Morning again. I’ve had a lovely second sleep 🤫😏 and didn’t wake until 10.30. Breakfast eaten now and starting my slow cool day. Lovely sunny day with little white clouds here and there, and no wind for a change. I might even sit on the veranda and get some vit D. 😁
Hello Pat, afraid you wont make me jealous, here in the SE UK, it has been in the high teens for a few days, wearing a T shirt Sunday, got rather red too. Yvie, so sorry to hear your news. Punkdoc, love the cartoon. My daughter best friends Hubby has it, is on a ventilator, has had other very serious effects as well. I get news from my old nursing friends, young people dying. So, strange, yet, you have a 99 year old from Liverpool sruvives, and 104 year old in Italy. Keep well, keep gardening. Oh, the bread, a few years back I was eating a grainery roll, with marmalade. Had worked a night shift, this was my breakfast at lunch time, so to speak. Visited my dentist the previous week, would you believe, clear round.I had warmed th roll in the oven, thinking, boy, this is REALLY crunchy, er no, it was my back double bottom tooth!! Went to dentist, x ray, she couldnt remove it, because the root was big and at 45% angl under another tooth. So it was a max fax job, plenty of "local" felt great, aboyed the post op stuff to the letter got a "dry socket". Had the tooth removed 18th December, because its near Christmas, I cannot even get an emergency denistal appointment, and local Hospital doesnt do dental. Nearly went out of my mind with the pain!!
