Morning LB and all to follow. LB, I'm so happy that you will have another nice day for gardening. Here is the same as yesterday, cold and windy. Snow stopped at least. My plants, around house, are ok, and hope so that other ones at my cottage are also well. They are covered with snow in the hills. Around 50 cm of new snow.
I have a nice cup of warm tea and waiting for me students to wake up.😀
Morning LB and Ante . Debs ,thinking of your family ,take care in these hard times .Wow Ante that’s a lot of snow . I do hope that your plants are ok . LB , I am going to take advantage of the good weather.Still lots to do in the garden. I guess you will be doing the same .
Morning Ruby, yes the garden is beckoning. Spreading pelleted chicken manure is one of the tasks today. Other tasks will just evolve. Its still a bit chilly outside as yet so I'm having a brew and planning.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Morning everyone - another sunny, crisp day - lovely.😎
Debs - I hope everything goes well today. Best wishes for you and your fiance.
Ante - wrap up warm - think we may be about to have a little cold snap too.
Hope everyone else enjoys their day whether they’re gardening, lazing or queueing.
Just to top my cake with icing I’ve had a nice little UTI since Tues evening, so feeling a bit below par. All initial consultations at our GP practice are now by phone. Rang at 8.10am - doctor rang back at 8.45 - antibiotics will be available for me to collect after 11am.
What excellent service!
Suspect I may have been fast tracked because it was a bit of an easy win. A common condition - usually easy to treat but with potential to become more serious if not attended to and a patient happy to disclose full details to receptionist so doctor knew exactly what he would be dealing with.
OH has said he’ll walk the 6 mile round trip to collect the meds. It can be his dose of daily exercise. Good job. Doc said the queue for pharmacist was round the car park at 8am and (at the moment) I’m feeling the urge to pee about every 20 minutes - extremely inconvenient when facing an hour standing around in the cold!
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Morning T'Bird. I think we will have all been there. Have you any cranberry juice or failing that black coffee? At least the antibios kick in quickly for that particular infection and relief comes soon.

Debs thinking of you and fiancé today. I wish Maisie and her stepdad a good recovery. Ante I hope you have improved weather even if it does look beautiful. LB hope you rested well. Chive enjoy today’s good weather.
Wind is stopped so I went out to the garden to inspect damage. I found a very sorrow sight around my cypress. Cold and strong wind and snow killed several small birds, robins the most. They did probably seeking shelter in cypress but it wasn't enough.
