@Fairygirl, haven't you heard? Radio 2 is now for children of the 90s (even though they probably don't listen to "the wireless" these days).
Here's what you can expect to hear next week

Thank the lord for Ken Bruce and Popmaster,  he's the only one l listen to these days. Still fuming about what happened to Simon Mayo and Drivetime...

Maybe I'm in a minority, but I LOVE Sara Cox.

Love Sara Cox, but that doesn’t make what happened to Simon Mayo right 😢

🤔 Morrisons just phoned ... a delivery driver has called in sick ... can we go and collect our order?
Well, we were trying to stay away from crowded supermarkets but ... hey ho ... don’t really have any choice do we?

    They were very apologetic.

I didn't listen to him often TBH. Can't comment on whatever happened to him.
Waitrose will meet you in the car park with your shopping so you don't have to go inside.. Maybe Morrison's do the same? or you could ask?

Surely someone has to take it to the front of the shop for you to collect it, can't be too hard, or time consuming,to push it a few extra metres into the car park??

We'll see ... I'll try ringing them when we get to the car park ... it'll be around 8 this evening so maybe it won't be crowded.  I did have the brainwave of asking them to put it in a taxi ... it's only an £8 trip away ... but their phone is ringing out ... think they're a bit harassed ...

Next week we're heading down the A140 to the big farm shop ...

Local taxi firm here has offered to pick up anyone’s shopping/medical or anything else for them and deliver it to their house for £5.00.

Yeah, but I can't get in touch with Morrisons to arrange it as their phone is ringing off the hook ... I'll just drive down, OH will wear gloves and nip in and get it ... and not breathe while he's doing it  ;)

@AnniD- don't start me on the Simon Mayo debacle.....
You would hear me weeping and wailing from here.  :'(
Every time I hear The Proclaimers'  ''Sunshine on Leith'' it starts me off. Nothing new there really, but it was the last song he played before he went.   :(

I listen to R2 pretty much all day, but I now realise it's some Fearne Cotton thing. I probably heard her voice banging on about it, and turned it off. She's another useless bint.  Where do they get these dreadful female presenters?
What will we do when Ken retires?  :o
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
