Our local CoOp is sensibly limiting customers to two of any product.  Which they can afford to do as they are not for profit and still retains something of the Rochdale pioneers.  Can't expect other SMs to do likewise.  Last week Asda hadn't an egg, this week they haven't a cornflake.

You could use it to garnish your bowl of UHT milk

Wendy let me in, I wanna be your friend
I want to guard your dreams and visions
Just wrap your legs 'round these velvet rims
And strap your hands across my engines
Together we could break this trap
We'll run till we drop, baby we'll never go back.

Classic. Wendy was a girlfriend of mine at the time.

    @punkdoc ;)
I know, I know. I just sometimes wonder if they only have about three of The Boss's songs to play!
Born to Run, born in the USA, Dancing in the Dark, seems to be about it.
    Occasionally, The River.  :D

Just to annoy you even further - I don't really like Bruce.....Sorry  :D

UHT milk @B3. Where are you getting that!  ;)
@josusa47- the supermarkets round here are doing their best. Please don't be unkind about them. The hostility and rudeness staff are putting up with at the 'front end' just now, is vile.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

@Fairygirl I don't drink cow juice of any kind unless it's in something where I can't taste it. School milk by the radiator syndrome.

My wife has recently been to our local Co-op where one customer became very abusive to staff when told they couldn't have as much as they want of whatever they want.

@Fairygirl - could be worse.  I seem to get a lot of Jean-Jacques Goldman (screechy voice) and Jonny Halliday (just dreadful).  As for Bruce, I like Hungry Heart and Philadelphia but can live without the rest.

Wouldn't it be sensible in these difficult times for people to stop shoving junk mail through peoples' doors? Especially when they have a sign saying no junk mail please...
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    I s'pose they're earning a living ... or trying to ...
