Not a good day so far. I dutifully updated my laptop last night as Microsoft asked me to, this morning my screen was upside down. I couldn't fix it so had to resort to phoning daughter for her help and she talked me through it.
Walked to local newsagent to get paper and exercise when we saw lots of of secondary school children and the shop was packed. OH got quite scared being so close to the kids. We guessed that they'd been sent home because of you know what, which turned out to be correct and so it's now in our immediate area. Blast.

Then at lunchtime, we heard a large bang, electricity went off, I got marooned on my electric recliner (again!) and the tumble dryer had overheated and busted. We can't remember how old it is - maybe ten years? and it's probably not repairable. At least it didn't catch fire which is a blessing. Looking on the bright side, cancelled holiday = new dryer!

My dog loves Pedigree Schmackos so much that he won't eat his dinner without one broken up and added to the food. Today I bought 6 packs as they were on the regular offer of 6 for £6. I just opened a pack to feed him after his walk and thought I'd bought the wrong thing as they were much smaller than usual. I checked the old pack and they've reduced the size from 172g down to 144g for the same money. The dog's now looking at me accusingly wondering where 16% of his snack has gone. Companies have picked a bad time to pull this nonsense when everyone is stuck at home with time on their hands to write angry emails and social media posts.

My nephew is having trouble finding cat litter.  Surely people aren't stockpiling that!

I went onto the Pets at Home website to check if I bought the wrong treats and they were all out of stock on most Pedigree products.

When he's hungry enough he'll eat anything.

A good bowel movement will make your day but using cat litter as loo roll will make your hole weak. :#

More than curmudgeonly about this 😡

I suggest that when they’re caught, (and hopefully someone will turn them in) they should be put in a set of stocks and let the community loose with rotten eggs etc before they serve a jail sentence.

I've just had an email from my bird feed provider, telling me that due to the virus etc etc, they've had such a vast increase in online orders, they can't cope and aren't taking any new orders. What on earth is that all about????

There probably will be a surplus of rotten eggs to use up as well...
