..what a colour @Omori ... I hope it has a good scent, I believe that one does?...
@celcius_kkw ..yes, what can we say, but fabulous !.. and I reckon you squeezed yourself into some tight corners to take those wonderful photos of your garden up there...
@peteS Thanks! The pink ones are (from far left) boscobel and Gertrude Jekyll - from that distance it’s a little hard to tell them apart.. The yellow rose should be ‘Sunsprite’ after ID’ing by Marlorena. I threw its tag away when I bought it as I was silly back then 😛 I’ve got a range of pot sizes I must say - my smallest is 14x14 inches and the biggest 20x20in - and everything in between.
@m@Marlorena Trust me I would squeeze myself into any tight corner just to get the perfect shot ha! To be fair I do also have the benefit of being able to move my roses around too to fit the composition of my picture.
Thanks everyone for your kind comments.. we should all be having another warm sunny day today so let’s see which rose is going to put on a show. I’m on leave today too so I’ll be spending plenty of time on my balcony.
@celcius_kkw Looks absolutely great, I have a few roses in large pots. Not as many as you though!! and I know it's that much more difficult to look them, than ground planted roses. You have done an amazing job
@celcius_kkw lovely photos, what a view! your Boscobel is much more vivid than mine. Mine started out the same colour but is now a paler pink. Still pretty but not quite what I expected. It also doesn’t have any scent this year.
As an amateur gardener I have no idea why this year it’s different.
@Aero84, I was thinking the same about Boscobel. Lots of roses are new for me and this is first year in my garden for them. Somehow everything seems to be paler than photos for pink and yellows. I thought that's how they are in real life and only bright in photos
