I have Deep Secret at the front of a border that gets full sun. It’s very dark red, wonderful very strong fragrance, gets to be about 3 feet tall. Mine is still young, only planted it last July.

I'd love to see your Lady Waterlow when it flowers @pitter-patter, it's one of a few I was considering for a fairly shady wall.

Thanks @Omori. If in a pot, what would be the minimum size, would you say?

...your JC is gorgeous and makes me wish I still had it... certainly in the top 5 yellow roses...
...does The Prince's Trust have any scent? if so how would you describe it please..?

@Maelorena, you know you are asking the wrong person when it comes to scent, I am getting nothing from it! It’s scent is only described as ‘light’ anyway, I sent in OH to do sniff test, ‘smells faintly like like a rose’ wasn’t very helpful, then when pushed ‘maybe lightly fruity’  :)

My Desdemona buds are really pink this year, usually there is just a hint of pink showing before they open white. Are anyone else’s pinker than usual?

.. thanks to you both for the sniff test, that's good enough for me.. and as long as it gives you a good show... I would expect it to remain in good health for you...
