    @edhelka I love that colour coded montage! How gorgeous.  Ive got a few there and theres even more I now want! What are the two on the bottom two rows far right?  The colour!  Is one of those lovely peachy ones lady marmalade too - just brought that one and looked similar!

    Thank you all for this lovely thread, its really cheering up these cold dark days with something to look forward to :)

    @Desi_in_London,

    In vase yellow ones are Golden Celebration and purple ones are Young Lycidas. Both floppy and not much desease resistant. Both give those big blooms in bunches and very good fragrance.

    They are part of my blackspotter fragrant collection 😂

  • Thank you @newbie77 -- it was the yellow ones I was after ( although they look kind of peach on my poor quality screen)....since I seem to be already pretty talentless at growing anything other than weeds I'll perhaps just enjoy the disease-prone varieties from afar on this forum until I learn!
    Kindness is always the right choice.

    ..I think it's the first time I've seen your garden, looks really nice, and sheltered... Young Lycidas is such a winner in your vase.. I always wanted that rose..

    @Mr. Vine Eye, If you are looking for flowers for bees from seed, try zinnias. Though they are annuals and wont come back like dahlias, even the double ones attract bees because they have open center. For bigger fuller flowers Zinnia (dahlia flowered) variety is good.

    Thanks, everyone  <3
    @newbie77 You have a beautiful garden and a good size!
    Yes, you can clearly see my favourite colours in roses.
    @JessicaS The dark purple ones? 'The Prince' and 'Ebb Tide'.
    @Victoria Sponge I like the riot of colours and that bridge too. What's that gorgeous gallica-looking purple rose?

    @edhelka oh great, ive brought ebb tide this year! I shall have to look for the prince too, I thought it was more burgundy from other pics - it looks gorgeous!

    @Victoria Sponge's  lovely purple rose looks like my Rhapsody in Blue
