    Nice to hear that you had great Christmas.

    I am enjoying 4 day long holiday at home. Garden is waterlogged and it had been very windy and rainy. This year roses are getting tested how they survive in this soil.

    @JessicaS Ebb Tide is a bit bluer than in that picture but not as blue as Rhapsody in Blue. In a pot that rose was one of my best, healthiest performers, definitely my longest flowering.
    I have used Secret Gardening club this summer, pretty pleased with most of what I received. Being so small the plants only showed a fraction of what they will become but I haven't lost any yet.
    I am thrilled to have received a DA voucher for Christmas, now waiting excitedly to see what their new offerings will be.

    @Mr. Vine Eye, you are very good photographer. Really captured the moment of frost in garden.

    @Tack , DA voucher, perfect gift!

    @Tack Thank you, that swings it, ive ordered Ebb tide! I chose open arms for my climber based on an earlier recommendation, and ive ordered Lavender Ice as well as im a sucker for the purples and lilacs and that has a beautiful shape and it'll go nicely with Ebb. Trying cottage-memories as they have a good selection and reasonable prices for bare roots.

    @Mr. Vine Eye Yes ive had the last minute droppage which is annoying but at least super quick with refunds.  Ive been impressed when plants have been lost too (lavenders with grey bits getting rot sigh) - no quibble refunds.  Ive just ordered a pink gaura with them actually, I might try popping a bit in a jar too good idea - first year ive tried Gauras (a pretty white) and its beautiful.

    @JessicaS

    They are very easy to propagate! I took cuttings from the cuttings because they were too long - and those then grew roots too. They rooted within a week in spring.

    I wanted one called Gaura Lindheimeri Siskiyou Pink - I wasn’t sure if the one that has been listed in the past on SGC is that right one - it’s described as Siskiyou Pink but doesn’t  have the Lindheimeri part on the name and it’s described as a larger gaura. Whereas in other places it’s supposedly similar to the smaller White Lindheimeri that I already have I.e. 40cm wide.

    I've seen one before in the flesh and really liked the red stems, but I don't have space for a large one.

    The one ive ordered is "lindheimeri Freefolk Rosy" - I'll let you know what mine ends up like, picture looks sort of pink and white blushed.

    I have grown Gaura from seed(store bought packet) couple of times and had good success.
