@Katsa If you are tempted, consider that it could be the last chance to get them (at least without additional taxes and/or red tape).

The thought has crossed my.mind @edhelka. We brought back 12 cases of wine from France in light of Brexit. The car was rammed! I was amazed that we actually fit 2 mountain bikes plus kit and two road bikes plus kit and general stuff plus the wine on our way home.

But if I buy any more roses my OH has threatened an intervention 😂. Although, I may try to sneak a couple more in.

Does anyone know if Lens ship direct? I saw a couple that don't seem to be sold by PB.

We've just got back home from our Welsh holiday (we were up in your neck of the woods @edhelka) stunning scenery, our first visit.
Very pleased to see my roses in pots had survived a week without being watered and most are in bloom, although it's now raining hard.

@Katsa Yes, they do. I paid 23.30 euros for shipping last year, 75.40 total for 5 roses, not bad.
I wouldn't mind having 12 cases of French wine :D
@Lizzie27 I am happy to hear that you liked it here and that you had luck with the weather. It was a really nice week, wasn't it? It only started to rain yesterday.

@edhelka, we couldn't believe our good fortune with the weather, I'd packed jumpers and boots! Stayed near Harlech - our first trip to North Wales, everybody was very friendly and mostly covid aware so we felt relatively safe.  We were also most impressed with the number of public loos open in Wales! Why can't England be the same.

DA’s discontinuation policy is a bit of a mystery, sometimes, @Tack. I get the ‘out of license not making as much money’ thing, but they seem to get rid of some great roses and keep selling some well past their licence expiration that don’t seem to merit it.
The Prince does have its faults (ref. edhelka!) it needs a warm, sheltered spot out of wind, rain and direct afternoon sun, but that’s mostly what it has here. On the plus side, it’s healthy here, not even a teeny bit of BS, few thorns, it’s beginning to strengthen and bush out, the blooms are gorgeous and the fragrance is really developing into fruity, old rose notes. I love the changing colours from rich, deep red to burgundy and purple. If you want to add it to your fabulous soldier parade, TCL has it 😉

I looked on TCL but must have been blinded by the other goodies. It shall be added. Thank you, I can give it a choice spot in the line up.

    Edit; It's sold out :(

Oh dear, sorry Tack! There is always next year. Mine is only in it’s first honeymoon season, maybe it will be a mess next...
