@Nollie I love The Prince but can't find it available anywhere from a quick google search :(

@rock_hen Tuincentrum Lottum. They have so low prices that it is worth it to buy from them even though they are in the Netherlands.

@Victoria Sponge thanks.  I think with mine it had just opened and the sun was on it making it look so vibrant.  Within 24hrs it had really toned down to the salmon colour like you describe but it is very pretty.

Your roses are looking lovely @Tack.  I have Julia Child on my wish list and your GG looks gorgeous too.

@edhelka...Tuincentrum Lottum...are these the exact same roses we buy in the UK.

@peteS Yes. They have varieties that aren't available in the UK and I am not 100% sure if all their roses are all grafted on laxa rootstock (most of them are but I can't tell if all of them, it's possible they use more than one rootstock). But simply said, yes, you can get DAs from them for 5 to 8 euros, the same roses that are sold here for £18-20. Although they don't have the newest varieties. All their prices are for bare root roses, shipped from late October onwards. The quality of their roses is good, as good as you would expect from the best rose sellers here.

DA posted a watering guide which may be helpful to some, thought I’d repost it here. (ETA obviously this is weather/climate dependant).

Thank you for the website. It means that I can afford more roses and the shipping costs are really low.
    Best wishes

I planted this rose about 4 weeks ago, it's a HT called Silver Jubilee, but it is full of black spot, and the way it's going on it will be practically leafless in a week or two. I've also got a second HT, called Timeless Purple, which has also developed black spot, although not nearly as bad. I quite like the idea of growing a few HT's but if they are more prone to BS than other roses I don't think I'll bother.

@Omori - thanks for that watering guide, very helpful.

@peteS - I've got the same rose and same problem, mine's in it's 2nd year. To be fair, mine's a bit crowded with perennials around it so I think I'll move it in the autumn to give it more space. I don't think the weather has helped lately - it's extremely humid and warm today.

@Lizzie27...I was dithering as to whether or not to get rid of it, but you've made my mind up...it's going I'm afraid. I know it's only been in the ground a few weeks but the signs aren't good for a trouble free life with it. Do you know if this is a common problem with HT's, as none of my other roses have been affected with BS, because I would really like to grow a few more...but only if they're relatively trouble free and not prone to disease.
