Hello @AnnaB, I think you're doing just fine. You probably don't need to clean too much in between visits, only just afterwards and I don't think you need to wash your hands after every cough or sneeze. Before eating or preparing food and after loo visits is of course always essential.

    Your location sounds beautiful.

I've just bought two face masks from Screwfix, the last two of this particular type left in Bath.  I feel rather daft as I don't know how effective they might be and they look quite scary, but our little newsagent is very small and there's not enough space to maintain the 2 metre space so I'm thinking better safe than sorry.

Do you know to what standard they have been manufactured, and do you know how to use a mask without contaminating it?

I'm just wondering when the initial fractures in the society we take for granted will commence ?
Food and fuel shortages ; probable power-cuts in the near future as workers fall ill . Also the chance of a sizeable portion of our police-force absent  too .
How long until unscrupulous thieves are stealing fuel from our vehicles at night ?
Our street-lights are switched off here at midnight ; this may be a plus factor for the criminals willing to loot empty bungalows etc. as a result of people being hospitalised .
I just hope the military are mobilised (if needed) to curb this ; or will people start taking the law into their own hands ?

Don't think they will need to steal fuel, as no one is going anywhere there should be plenty.

Hope this doesn't sound rude @Lizzie27, but do you really need to go to the newsagents?
The masks might help you spreading the virus to others, but unless manufactured to medical standards for virus protection, will not benefit you.
How can you lie there and think of England

475 virus related deaths in Italy today. :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

My Grandad has COPD so I told him its best to stay in, or go walk in the park where no one is in close proximity. Also felt it safer to not meet up with him just in case I'm an unknowing carrier..
