@punkdoc. That’s what I was told, but fortunately they still have enough for a while. my son had his a long while before me, that’s all I am concerned with really. It is the Moderna spikevax given now, Was told it contained vaccine for the original COVID and some protection from Omicron. Just to add, I had no effects at all except a large red burning patch on my arm which is still there from Saturday, doesn’t hurt and I’ve slept on that side since having both jabs done together. I was told by our pharmacist that relaxing the muscle is a good way to help with pain in the arm. I’m good at relaxing 😉

I've got my re-re-booked flu jab appointment tomorrow but I've got a really bad cold now and will probably have to cancel it again. The kids were ill all last week and I didn't seem to catch it off them but then I woke up yesterday with my nose streaming and my throat all swollen up.
I had to go to the shop to get some medication last night and wore my mask and sanitised etc. I got some funny looks for wearing the mask though. It's a long forgotten precaution now I think.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
I think you're right @Singing Gardener . As far as I know over-75s and younger people who are clinically vulnerable have already had five (or could have if they'd taken them up). Over 50 but under 65s like me have had three (no spring booster for us) and will be able to get a fourth soon (I hope!). Under 50s have had three but aren't being offered a fourth (unless plans change).
I'm 64 but have Parkinson's so am in the at risk group. I wasn't offered a spring booster but am now eligible for the autumn one (booked for Saturday). OH is also 64 but hasn't been invitied for the Covid booster yet as he doesn't have a relevant health condition.
Maybe I misunderstood the spring booster . My diabetic friend (aged 59) got one and has had her autumn booster too, about a month ago. Maybe there are subdivisions of "at risk" that I'm unaware of.

The mask issue is very interesting. Many experts believe they should become compulsory again, but the current government is totally against any idea of big government, so it will not happen. I have to admit, that I gave up wearing one, because unless it is the majority of the population, it has no benefit. You are not wearing it to protect you, but to protect others.

In the original vaccine rollout there were too groups: "high risk" and "at risk" - I am in the latter group. I think they may now have been merged though.
I've had my fifth jab and OH his 4th. No reaction except for slight sore arms. Our flu jabs are booked for 5th Nov. My over 50 yr old daughter has just had her covid and flu jab at the same time.
That’s quite a scary update, Punkdoc. I still wear my mask in the supermarket, along with about a quarter of the customers, mainly the older ones. I do find the mask seems to indicate that I’d like others to keep their distance, which is helpful! We have had all four jabs, and OH had a spring booster as well. Flu jabs at 9 am on Saturday.

Yes @JennyJ, some risks count and some don't
