Our surgery says don’t call us, we’ll call you.  They are doing them down here though because my son had his 4 weeks ago.
He had to go to Truro for it,  I’m not going all that way.
I only had my third in November so plenty of time,  I’ve got until May. I’ll just wait a bit and see.

The US just approved the fourth jab for anyone over 50.  My parents are calling today to see if the local pharmacy has them available as walk-in. With the anti-vax attitude of many Americans, it's easy to get appointments or shots for anyone who actually wants them.

Pansyface. Are you over the 6 months yet?
I suppose like me you don’t want to travel to the walk in centres.

They have given out almost 142 million dose of vaccine in just over a year,  I don’t think they’ve done bad really.

Not much I like about this Government, but I do think the vaccination programme has been a great success.
I think the problem in your case @pansyface, is local.
Have you phoned the secretary of your consultant to ask for a letter?

But it could have been better if they'd had a clear plan with clear language and not so many ambiguous and ambidextrous politicians and jobsworths messing up.

Really hope you get a result @pansyface
I don't understand why you have been missed out.

Friend of ours, over 80 and over 6 months since his last booster, turned up at our local vaccination centre, and had it done after 5 minutes wait. Ok if you drive, and it’s not too far. Our GP practice has stated on its website that they won’t be participating in the spring booster programme and all the boosters would be given at the  vaccination centre. Admittedly, it’s only about 7 miles away, and I see that the buses that pass the centre, now detour in from the main road to make it easier to access.
