I love the way the BBC pick out that type, there must be several people happy to wear the mask but we need to see that one. Same when they interview nurses or care workers about COVID, they have to find the fattest women they possibly can, done for effect of course, we all talk about about so it rings home more.

I don't think they have to try that hard @Lyn. It's amazing how many medical staff and care workers have little understanding of nutrition. I know working conditions are tough and many don't get proper meal breaks but having a stash of chocolate bars, crisps and biscuits in their drawer for "snack attacks" is not clever. Only takes 5 minutes to make a nutritious sandwich or salad and wrap it.

To be fair, the guy doing the vox-pops did say that quite a few people had told him they weren't happy about mandatory masks but they weren't willing to appear on camera. Possibly the nutty bloke was one of the few nay-sayers willing to be seen nay-saying

I know, just as well they didn’t want to speak, one was enough.

Obviously something is getting thru despite Mr. Johnson. The number of people wearing a mask in the SM today was noticeably higher than this time last week.
Just back from Waitrose, virtually everyone masked apart from one assistant ( why wasn’t he given a behind the scenes task? ) and I saw a youngish couple, maybe early 20s, swanning in without masks. I saw another older woman without a mask but wearing some sort of badge presumably to declare exemption. Frankly, I think if she isn’t able to wear a mask, she should make alternative arrangements for getting her shopping. She might be exempt from wearing a mask, but shouldn’t be exempt from putting other shoppers at risk. Am I being very selfish?
I am vaccinated up to the eyeballs, and therefore do not wear a mask. It's disappointing to see many of the hateful comments on here about people who may be exempt from wearing one for legitimate reasons.
Whether you are vaccinated or not, you should be wearing a mask. The mask protects others as you can still carry the virus, whatever your vaccine status. It is simple selfishness not to wear one. Obviously there are a few exceptions, but selfishness, or pure stupidity are the main reasons.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I think that's a bit unfair @Andrew436 Most people have made a point in their posts of excluding those who are exempt for legitimate reasons. I haven't heard anything to say that those who are fully vaccinated are exempt ?
