Yes it's my observation that many shoppers are caring less and less. Like they have become too 'fatigued' to follow guidelines.
I dont have an app thingy either, no smart phone , I clicked the link shown on here. Hubby got me a takeaway chocolate from a place of the beach, only ONE other person apart from him had a mask.

Going back to the vaccine efficacy , JVT did say at the end of the briefing not to be too focused on the % figures. They are being deliberately cautious about what they are saying, but more data is coming in all the time. There were limited numbers of older participants in the UK trial but many more in Brazil & the USA but that data is still being collected.
