I found myself standing at the checkout queue, waiting for the person in front to be served and wondering where one keeps 81 loo rolls in a modern house with tiny rooms and no storage space? Kids bedrooms? I mean, I don't know what sort of house they have - perhaps they live in a mansion. But all these people buying crates of toilet roll can't all be living in palaces. I wonder if the fire brigade are concerned?

@Fire - Oh noooo the supermarkets aren't cashing in, they are merely "responding to customer demand" surely we all realise that! In Sainsbury on Saturday there were very few loo rolls except the brand we always buy which was on special offer -so we bought a pack
I'm always amazed people only buy a 4 pack of loo roll though. Doesn't it cost a lot more that way? Not to mention all the extra plastic packaging. I haven't bought it in less than a pack of 45 for years.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

It’ll depend on how much space you have at home and how many people live there.
Ha Ha , Good for you Barry Island, just hope you don’t need them all . Could you tell me if a partner is told to isolate themselves, does the other half have to stay, or can they stay somewhere else. Valerie
