    Ah thank you @debs64. I was a little worried that we'd get there and be turned away.I know we all have to wear masks and gloves. Hopefully it'll go smoothly.

    The money spent on weddings had got out of control.  I would have preferred a small ceremony. They can have the big bash later if it still matters or spend the money on something less transitory😊

    This is the daughter who's eloping in March. I'm not sure what kind of dress she's thinking of as there'll only be her and her boyfriend there,and two witnesses of course.
    All my kids have had 'cheap' weddings fortunately. Must be my common sense they've inherited :)

    Or alternatively they can choose what to spend their own money on and so can their parents and if they want a big expensive wedding that’s up to them?

    You need a dress that won't get in the way when she's climbing out of her bedroom window and down the ladder

    I'm wondering what's going to happen this Sunday when i'm supposed to be going with my daughter to a wedding dress outlet. Are people still allowed to try on clothes and then the clothes go straight back on the rack? She can have three guests accompany her,which there was going to be,but we're all from different households so technically we'll be breaking the rules.Dilemma..
    its not a dilemma..by going..you are breaking the rules..what makes you think the rules dont apply to you...are you an MP ?

    @andymorris , i'm going to Barnard Castle.

    Talking of which,has anyone seen the front cover of the daily star this morning? :D

    Are you referring to the weasel? Apparently his debt has been written off so he is not breaking the law.
