    Italy hasn't closed it's borders
Ah, they obviously understand quarantine to mean something different to the rest of us.  Italy is not in a state of isolation if it’s borders are open.

Merely restricting internal movement is not  quarantine.

Well I did need to "train" my hubby as he had a mother who wouldn't LET him do anything . He does help on his days off, and he has NEVER done so much gardening as he has since moving here. Bless him.🥰
My husband has never , ever mown grass in his life.

My OH grew up with two older sisters who were into motorbikes and horses ... they and his mum taught him that if something needed to be done he'd better do it himself  ... also his dad worked from home and his mum worked in town, so he always did his fair share too.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Well we've already been told that Italians don't follow the rules.

Interesting to see what we deem to be essential siege provisions. In Sainsbury's, boxed wine shelves are empty. Saw an eejit with a large trolley full of kitchen rolls.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

A couple of virus questions I can't find good answers to. Is this virus looking like it will be seasonal like the flu? There doesn't seem to be much Southern Hemisphere news about it. If you're confirmed as infected and you get better are you then regarded as immune and aren't subject to any quarantine measures or is that waiting to be confirmed?
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    " I'm offending foreigners"

I wouldn't be too sure you are offending foreigners.

It would seem, someone doesn't know the difference between religion and nationality??

I understand they’re hoping the better weather will help the population resist it better, but it may mean there is a second peak next winter.

There was a news headline the other week about someone getting better then getting infected again, but I didn’t look into that.
