If the weasel had been sacked and sent to prison for a week, it would have sent the right message and maybe some of the covidiots would have got the message

@B3 ... I expect all the Covidiots have been ‘following their instincts 😇’

Well yes - all the government decisions have been running too late behind the science, so last night was the first time I felt he was closer to acknowledging the seriousness.

As I said, stable doors and horses already bolted comes to mind. 😡

Sorry @AuntyRach , the reaction of the Gov at times frustrates the hell out of me. I know they have had a hard time and I doubt any Gov would have fared much better, but certain decisions just can't be ignored or 'forgotten' so quickly.
Maybe I misjudge the population, but I think that once the Gov gives something the go-ahead, the population in general thinks it must then be ok/safe(r) to do those things. BUT Christmas gatherings weren't safe in anyway shape or form - the 'three household' thing was just damage limitation - nothing more.
And if I hear one more minister saying that schools are safe.... fine, kids don't appear to exhibit symptoms, but I think it's now widely acknowledged that it doesn't stop them shedding the virus if they contract it. So the school itself may be safe(r) for kids, but they act as virus pools - or have I got that wrong?

My daughter was back to work yesterday with her child minding,  one of her child’s parents is a paramedic,  he can’t get a vaccine for love not money,  it annoys me that they are vaccinating 100 year olds who are just sitting in care homes yet someone like him is at great risk,  thus putting my daughter and her family at risk as well.

Well said @Dovefromabove. For some reason no one gives a hoot about the school staff. Life has been impossible for them this year but they have been called lazy and difficult by the press. They have been ignored re PPE and vaccinations and the money promised to help them provide for vulnerable children simply hasn’t come through.
