E45 cream and stop obsessively washing your hands basically! I use my own home made soap and am washing as much as usual no more frequently I am afraid I am one of those who thinks this is a storm in a teacup whipped into a frenzy to distract from real news.

Could some moderator please correct the unfortunate spelling mistake in the title of this thread from corvid-19 to covid-19? Thanks!

Sorry, must have missed it. I don't recall asking before anyway.
So, to humour me, (if you want), are you washing your hands more now? - and if so why?

And no, I haven't listened to that particular program on Radio 4 - but I have listened to many other as radio 4 is on from 6am - 6pm, monday-friday here usually (apart from a quick flit across to Radio 2 for popmaster).

If you want to be truly accurate, it should be COVID 19, not covid 19, @Papi Jo

The OP has already apologised for autocorrect’s mistake 🙄

Maybe corvid 19 is the number of magpies seen that signals a biblical plague. 1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 19 for a plague that's only going to be stopped by obsessively washing your hands...
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

A friend of mine who isn’t in an at risk group has gone OTT over COVID. He shops at Asda in the middle of the night when there’s less people and he’s also avoiding his friends. He even mentioned avoiding his sister because she’s not being cautious enough!

For now, I’m still going out and about as usual but have been washing hands more thoroughly, have hand gel and now hand cream when I’m out. I’m also taking some good quality vitamins to give my immune system a boost.

Glad it's not just me! Initially I wasn't bothered - just an autocorrect after all - but as it's a thread that's likely to run and run, I could really do without the constant presence of crows in my mind's eye. Will also request the change, in case they have a spare moment to edit it.

Can you ask them to sort out ‘boarder hedges’ and ‘television licenses’ at the same time? ☺️
