Hello all. Hope you're all well and not too stir crazy...
Our younger granddaughter had her 6th birthday yesterday. We had a virtual birthday party for relatives and friends on Zoom - better than nothing, and she obviously had a lovely day.
More gardening today. Found a wild cowslip in the rough grass behind the house, which made me happy. Doesn't take much!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I made a cushion for the garden bench from left over curtain material and foam. Went for a walk this afternoon. Ordered a load more plants. Cooked dinner, then slept through Midsomer Murders. Why am I so tired? Hope I sleep tonight.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I've just been reading the last bit of the March thread. You are correct @Busy-Lizzie - it isn't life or death. My sister probably won't be able to visit the cemetery on what would have been her oldest daughter's 40th birthday at the end of April. I'm currently listening to the reporting on the increase in domestic violence, and crying.
Please folks, just be grateful for everything you have. And sorry. I wasn't meaning to have a go at anyone, but most of us here are fortunate.
Glad the wee one had a good birthday@Yviestevie. Cake ? Ex hubby has just brought us some supplies to keep us going until Monday, when hopefully, we'll be fine to go out. I don't think low salt baked bean spaghetti was going to cut it....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Punkdoc, still giggling about that funny. Shared it with Hubby who laughed out loud. Thanks.
It’s April now ... I’ll start a new thread and ask the Mods to close this one.
