@josusa47 I grew up knowing what day of the week it was by what was for dinner and vice versa..  It was unspeakably boring and dull.   It has been my mission since then to try at least one new recipe a week and to ring the changes according to season and not day of the week.

No puds at the mo except at the weekend cos doing Lockdown "I will not get fat" diet.  7.8 kilos and lots of centimetres down and counting........

RTBC today was coffee, a fresh jam doughnut and chat with a friend who came over to sit in the garden with us. Lovely sunny day with a fresh breeze so it wasn't too hot.

We don't have puds either @Obelixx, I might have a handful of grapes to get my 5 a day in and OH usually has a natural yoghurt. I have put on 3lbs just these last 2 weeks and I'd been so good over lockdown - obviously doughnuts don't help! It's all OH's fault, he walked past the bakery this morning and they said "buy me"!!!!!

If you eat in the open air there’s a calorie exemption. That’s why those Mediterranean types are so healthy and trim.

No bakery to walk past here and I really dislike doughnuts anyway.   We did try several local bakeries when we moved here but none makes bread, croissants or pastries of the quality of the one in the village in Belgium.   Just as well.

Hubby came home from bakery yesterday, just as I was eating my small portion of baked beans, wholemeal toast and cuppa, said did I want a pastry, er no, so he said he would eat it then (plus his) is wondering why he cannot loose weight. I dont like doughnuts either.Used to love the Ensamardas in Majorca, not sure if thats how you spell it.Theres a cafe in Eastbourne town, I had a almond croisant in there couldnt eat it all,  owner said his chef used to work at the Dorchester.Id like croisants but maybe have 2 a year because they are so light and fluffy, you dont get filled up, and they have soooh many cals.
