    Looking forward to the next couple of weeks. The first dahlia flowers are starting to come out, scabious getting there too.

    @Valley Gardener yes it is. I've had her for about 5 years now and does get better each year. Flowers from bottom right up. I quite often get 2 flushes a year although 2nd ones are a bit smaller. Yours will look gorgeous when all those buds open.

    @Valley Gardener. No, it’s a shrub and the label says it grows 3 x 3. In other photos I’ve seen it has a tumbling habit which is why I’ve put in a tub. The flowers have a pink tinge on the edges. I’m growing very fond of hydrangeas. I bought about 5 last year from a local old fashioned nursery just need lots of water.
