Looking good @Stevedaylilly - does it go back far? I love the way it draws your eye in to explore.

    Hi
    Thank you
Yes, my bottom garden winds up to a archway, then there a shady planting area that leads to a top lawn with planted boarders. It’s quite a long garden approximately 190 feet in length

It looks really inviting. My garden is wide so to create ‘suprises’ I have underplanted trees and have a slopped rockery that you have to walk down steps to see the ground cover plants etc. I’d love a hidden bit.

    Same here
Most people who see my garden always ask “what’s on the other side of that arch” so I invite them to find out for themselves 😀

WillDB love the look of your garden especially the border in photo 2. What have you got planted in that border.
Can I also ask what your little hedge across the garden is as I am looking at planting something to hide some ugly bricks.
Just wanted to say what a lovely planned garden you have. Love everybody’s photos they are all uplifting and inspiring 😁

Thanks Sloppy, its mainly Luzula nivea at the moment, with some Pulmonaria 'Opal' and white Anemone blanda. I only dug that border last autumn, it was a concrete path before. Which was a lot of fun digging up :#:#:#

The little mini-hedge is bare root box I planted last autumn.

That border makes your garden complete so was worth the hard work. The before and after look like 2 different gardens it was definitely the right decision. Thanks for letting me know what the plants they are as I am looking for inspiration and the mix is what I would like to go for.
