  • Another 'rescued' plant. Until very recently it was covered in brambles, honeysuckle, stinging nettles and a very enthusiastic Campsis.

  • Super @pitter-patter, and very imaginative. 😁
I've got a new camera and it's very good, technology these days is amazing, I do like the ability to blur the background whilst highlighting the front, looks like you're using that facility too, fabulous detail of the webs.
Obviously it's our artistic eye that frames the shot first of course. ☺️

Really lovely @pitter-patter. That wee snail just positioned himself perfectly  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • Thanks, @D0rdogne_Damsel and congratulations on getting a new camera. I’m taking photos with my phone, but dreaming of a nice camera with proper macro capabilities.

Yes, @Fairygirl, I was quite lucky to spot the snail, it didn’t particularly stand out. I was admiring the small luminescent flowers of the verbena.

@pitter-patter If you are seriously interested in macrophotography, investing in a proper camera and a proper macro lens will open up a whole field of possibilities. I never regretted making such an investment myself; you may see some of macros on this site.
Some pics of the day taken in my garden, a welcome place in these times of lockdown.
    Cyclamen hederifolium
Narcissus Tazetta 'Paperwhite Ziva' first flowers, quite early this year!
    Pennisetum alopecuroides amidst Ophiogon nigrescens

    Erigeron karvinskianus

Eryngium yuccifolium still pushing out new flowers. Had no idea it would flower for this long. It's getting a bit floppy from lack of sun though.

I thought this little thrift was producing a couple of new flowers...then I realised it wasn't  :)
