My hellebores are just starting to flower - the white ones for the first time. It's always such a joyous thing to have them return. Rozanne just finishing.

Anna's Red: Holds its colour well. They can come out actually red, or sometimes pink. Seems earlier to emerge by me than other years.

I saw my first daffodil just about to flower in a garden near by.
This is my first snowdrop of the season: 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

I'm not quite sure what these are, but I'm very happy to see them:
All so beautiful. Gardening has been the main thing that has got me through this tricky year, so easy to get lost for hours out there, puts so much into perspective. I had a little walk around this New Year morning, all sparkling and clean, felt very appropriate.
Nice pics, @DOrdogne_Damsel. Pity you did not upload them to the forum.
1st of January 2021. Maybe a harbinger of a Happier New Year, a glorious weather today, starting with a frosty morning and then a sunny afternoon. Gardening has surely been a welcome activity/leisure for many of us in that annus horribilis.
Some pics of frosty plants taken in the garden this morning.
Heuchera 'Purple Petticoats'
Nandina domestica ‘Brightlight’
Thalictrum delavayi 'Ankum'
Malus 'Evereste' with its nicely peeled-off apple by hundry blackbird?
@pitter-patter - Arvo Pärt is wonderful, going so well with a frosty garden. Such lovely frost pictures - the malus and the rabbit. I haven't been adventuring with my camera yet.
