That's a stunning Poppy @Valley Gardener I'd convinced myself we wouldn't grow any more Poppies, but that's giving me second thoughts. The petals remind of those little oriental Spring Rolls that you get, that have almost translucent pastry around them.
Beautiful Rozanne @Fire I only got my first Rozanne a few months ago, it has only a fraction of the flowers that yours has, but I am asking myself why I resisted buying one for so long.
Yes, that's an amazing Rozanne @Fire. Mine is miniscule in comparison, but its only a couple of years old and currently in a pot since the garden revamp. How old is your one?
Finally getting around to posting some pictures. Only have a small garden so this is the main/only bed with Cosmos on the left, Dahlias in the middle and Petunias and Phlox front right. Sweet pea at the back obviously and the first Morning Glory flower is out today as well (back right). My Clematis Taiga is just about to flower on the tripod.
I'm like you @RoddersUK planted way too close together 😀
Unknown variety of Geranium
Coleus variety
My Fuschia mans hair is looking a bit ragged and patchy 😀
@KeenOnGreen. I saw this poppy growing wild,so when it was over I collected some of the seeds. I sprinkled the first lot of seed in the Autumn, and they came up as singles, but the second lot I put in compost on the kitchen window, and planted out in May. They came as doubles. Really surprised as they look so delicate.
@jamessayersbrown What are those beautiful lemony coloured daisy types ? (5th pic down)
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
