    @pitter-patter that osteopernum is hypnotising.
    @Papi Jo bless you for that annotated border. How is the purple fantasy ever related to persicarum polymorpha??

    @KeenOnGreen - amazing Tidal Wave and astonishing iris. I'm soooo behind. 😫
    I might get something planted for sometime in November.

    Which umbellifer is this? I have MUE  (Major Umbel Envy). This is so the effect I have been trying for for years. With no joy. Sigh.

    Thank you!
    Not sure what you want to know about my Persicaria runcinata 'Purple Fantasy' All I can say it it's a fantastic plant, although it tends to be invasive... More on the RHS site here.

     This chap is in the right place  so it's  a wildflower,  not a weed😉

    I love scarlet pimpernels, they remind me of my nan's front garden. I don't seem to have any luck growing them though. I've tried seeds and the plug plants I bought never self seeded 😔

    @februarysgirl ,Is the first pic what we used to call "shivering grass" when we were kids? It was always fascinating.
