Every year in my garden the very first flower of each species to bloom is particularly awaited, and the date is carefully noted on its card. Thus, for example, I noted that Geranium Rozanne made its first flower on May 22nd in 2016, 2017 and 2018; on May 23rd in 2019, and today, April 26th, 2020, almost a month ahead of schedule.
New bed planted last Autumn, 3' x 12', coming on nicely. I now have something lovely to see every time I open my front door...roses, lavenders, geums, daffodils, lillies, foxgloves.
