    @Valley Gardener. I'm not sure which one you mean. The one with the clematis is Tess of the D'Urbervilles. It's not really what I'd call pink.
    Did I post the pink shrub rose with the veronica on this thread? If you mean that one, it's quite old( maybe 10 years) and I probably bought it somewhere like B&Q but I don't remember. It's quite compact ,about 4x4 with smallish leaves. It's definitely not a climber

    This penstemon looked a bit more spectacular on the label.  Needs some shade and plenty  of water.
    Photographs well but a little dull in reality. Definitely  needs a foil . Would go with most colours  I think.

    Hmmm... I wonder if that penstemon is Husker Red @B3 ... I was very underwhelmed with it last year...

    Me too,its a nice strong plant,but I think the "red" bit is more about the leaves,I have to agree very underwhelming for the price.
    The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.

    Yes that's what it is. Underwhelming describes it perfectly.
