Good morning LB, T'bird and all to follow.
Another beautiful day here. I must go out soon so wish me luck. I hope so that I'll survive😂.

LB, I also like Harry Potter, and last night I managed to see two off three movies. I must admit that it was a success for me.

Enjoy your day and see you at afternoon.

Good morning all. Overslept and missed the bin collection so think we need to go to the tip I have so much recycling but they don’t recycle plastic there so have to hold onto that for another fortnight!

Morning Ante, Debs, Ruby and Chive. Ante I wish you luck but I'm sure that you don't need it.
Chive, I agree. I do not know where this holiday has gone - blink and you miss it. I've got to go into town today. Stuff to do at the bank, my contact lens man, buy the train extension to my bus pass as I was informed by email before the holiday that if I wished to continue having free train and tram journeys within Greater Manchester it would now cost bus pass holders a tenner a year. Still a bargain for me. Finally at 12:15 I have to go and see my dentist as I'm having a problem with one of my front teeth. I phoned yesterday and was pleased to get the appointment so soon. I won't call most of that fun Chive, you are so right!

Good morning LB, Ante, Rubee, Chive and all to follow.  Topbird thinking of you today and I hope there will be some good memories.  MU wishing a good year to you and yours.  Joyce I hope you’ve had a good nights sleep.  I went to bed at 9 to read a book by Carmel Harrington avoiding D-r-a-c-u-l-a.  Ante I hope you will be fine on your beautiful day.  Chive make the most of your friday before you return to school.  I hope you’ve found it relaxing.  There is still some Christmas food left a few Chocs and a few slices of frozen turkey.  LB if you do use the train/tram regularly that is good value.  Just enjoying a cup of tea and watching Longleat.

Back home and cream crackered. Got all the jobs done bar one. I couldn't pay for my train/tram ticket as apparently I have to wait until MID January. Ah well I tried. Dentist couldn't see anything wrong with my tooth so he x-rayed it to see if there was anything underlying. Verdict - the tooth is perfect but it may be something to do with my 'bite'. I had to bite down on some tape and grind my teeth back and forth and back to front - not as easy as it sounds. He suspects the canine in my lower jaw is causing the problem so he ground it down, thats my audition for Dracula scuppered! He then painted on some fluoride sealant and told me not to eat or drink for 2 hours. That brings me to 14:30 and I'm gagging for a cuppa!
PF that is such a sweet story about Elsa and the picture is fantastic. Its like a Mexican stand off! (Ante - like when two parties face one another and no one will back down)

Afternoon all.  My usual Friday afternoon visitor isn't feeling too good so visit cancelled.

LB,  temptation out of the way with the closure of the chocolate shop. Hope your tooth problem settles down.

PF, Elsa may start to find that life outside can be interesting.  It's good that she didn't scarper when she encountered the sqirrel.

I usually have lots of snowdrops in flower at this time of year but saw a solitary one this morning and others just poking through the soil.

Have you checked your furniture and mattresses for cat holes PF?
Joyce, I'm sorry that your visitor is a little one degree under. I'm impressed that you have a snowdrop on view. I've got loads of tree leaves on my garden. Stockpile chocolate! I would like to know the person that could do that.
