  • Morning all.
Just got back from the SM only needed a few bits and it was weirdly quiet in there. Took me no time st all. Roads seem very quiet too.
Agree LB the festivities went by very quickly, Christmas and New year both went by in a flash. I do hope this year won't zoom past like 2019 did!
Haven't taken the decs down yet, will probably do it tomorrow.
Having a relaxing cup of tea before lunch.
Hope all poorly peeps are feeling better and thinking of everyone in the quiet corner.
    Take care

Lily - great tree! Shame we don't drink that brand - could have considered it as an alternative come December....

Afties all. I LOVE that alternative tree SGL. I'll bet the person who built it enjoyed either the afters or the befores when the cans had to be emptied of their contents.
Chive, thanks for asking about the tooth. I feel a bit of a fraud as in all normal circumstances it was no bother whatsoever. It was just taking in a breath of cold air and I felt the pain shoot up into my skull. Touch wood the treatment yesterday has sorted that. I just thought it better to get it checked out in case there was a little hole there.
T'Bird, a nice, positive day for all at the funeral and I love the idea of the great-grandchildren in their party finery. I think I might start to deconstruct my dekkies too. To raw and wet outside to do anything.

Afternoon all.  A miserable wet day here so sorted some stuff out in the basement and checked out what compost I had.  Thoughts of spring and planting ahead.

I think the novel Christmas tree looks good from a distance but wouldn't like to look at it for long.

Joyce, you could just get a ball and 'skittle' it down.

Finished cleaning and tidying my porch . Painted two internal door thresholds that have suffered from mad cat chases . Had enough for today .
  • They had pretty lights in the window too, they don't show up in the pic. It's a flat, so maybe a single chap or 2 live there. Think it's a novel dea....either saves on buying one or maybe they have a proper tree too and they just wanted to tidy up the empties 😉😂😂

Quite like your idea of skittles with the cans LB.

Had a quick look round the garden, crocus and daffs in pots have started to come through.  That always cheers me up.

Ruby, hope you managed to keep the cats off the wet paint.
