Good morning LB and all to follow.
I survived yesterday and it was pretty good. Weather was very pleasant, and this morning is also nice and sunny. But not for long, tomorrow we will have a windy and very cold weather.

Beautiful photo LB. I love sunrises.

Did I read that we must buy hats? I need top hat then😁. Congratulations Debs.

Morning Ante and PF. Hope you've made a cuppa for Mr M PF. I'm bracing myself for the taking down of the dekkies which is quickly approaching. Does anyone else, like me, seem to think that this particular holiday has just flown passed?

Good morning LB, Ante and all to follow. Took tree down yesterday a bit later than usual not very organised this year. Waiting for a super huge tree bag to arrive from the big river site to pack it all away properly. My box finally collapsed when I unpacked tree last year. Hope this bag will do the trick it has good reviews. I also want some proper boxes for decorations I think I need a trip to Ikea soon. ( any excuse)

    Morning all🙂

Made it home in one piece by 7.30pm last night. Two trips round the M25 in one day is not recommended for the faint hearted but, with schools and a lot of people still on holiday, it was nowhere near as painful as it might have been. A 5hr round trip still makes for a long day....

Funeral went well. Many memories in a short, non-maudlin, non-religious service bravely led by my friend & her sister and a champagne ‘party’ afterwards attended by very young great-grandchildren in party clothes who were intent on having fun. It was most definitely a celebratory affair - exactly as the deceased would have arranged herself.

Today, I should also make a start on taking down the decs. There’s not many but I like to pack them away carefully.

Pansy - it sounds as though Elsa is finally starting to come to terms with her new home. It may never be the perfect set up but she’s experiencing so many new things all at once it’s no wonder she’s taking a long time to settle. It will be ok🙂

Chey - I echo what the others have said about the DNA testing. Love & friendship are so much more important than genetics - don’t let the results spoil anything. However, I hope the results bring some sense of closure and certainty for you all.

Morning everyone.  Topbird I’m glad you are back safely and there will be good memories even though there is sadness.  Debs I think its good taking your decks down after the celebrations.  You’ll be still excited over the proposal.  I’m very pleased for you.  Ante wrap up warm for the colder weather.  It was much cooler here yesterday but I haven’t stepped out yet to see what the weather is like this morning.   I’ve seen three collared doves whilst drinking my tea.  They seem to be slow movers when it comes to getting food.
