I don't if you have a version of the TV programme "Dragons' Den " in Canada. (Basically folk pitch an idea in hope of investment from those in industry). One of the strongest problems is the price of the product. Once you factor in manufacturing and distribution, profit for yourself and profit for the retailer, how much would this device sell for?

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Or with any of my other plants that have multiple stems.
Well Im so sorry to waste your precious time then, but you dont have to stick around you know if this isnt something you need. As I have said several times now, this isnt for every gardening application and so isnt for everyone . Imagine though people who are gowing maybe 100 plants like say Cannabis for example, try some some time it might help you. I beleive this would be perfect for their needs. Usually the lone stem is right in the center of their suitably large pots . Under the bright and hot lights they are often placed under, the soil may tend to dry out quickly , even with decent humidity in the room. That may cause the soil to become hydrophobic over time, which results in water not soaking throughout the pot as it usually does when watered carefully. Watering carefully being making sure to water each area roughly for the same amount of time. Having to hold a watering can for 100 plants regardless of whether the soil stays wet is a chore that my device practically eliminates. You can just pour the water into it fairly quickly , maybe 5-10 seconds each, instead of a few minutes each and moving it around carefully ! The fact here are so many tiny holes though instead of one large stream is advantageous too . Again though, I agree this issue isnt much consequence in smaller pots, but in larger pots eveness matters , a lot I believe .
Aha ... daylight dawns ... I think we're the wrong demographic for your marketing 🤣
As for you recommending that I try it .... I was around in the Sixties my friend, and I was an art student .... been there, done that and still have the tee shirt

Interesting idea but why are you pitching it to a UK site? You say it doesn't stay on the pot but surely by the time you remember where you put it, sorted out the right one for your pot , put in round the plant, moving trapped leaves out of the way, filled you watering can or a kettle, you have probably spent as long as you would normally. Also growing Cannabis is illegal here. Are all Canadians this defensive and touchy?
It is illegal to grow cannabis in Europe and the UK. Anyone who has a large production set up of any kind will use automatic drip feeders on timers in polytunnels and greenhouses.
People with a few houseplants will tailor their watering regime to the plant and the seasons.
As Topbird said - some of us have been at this game for decades and know what we're about. All sorts of people post on here asking for advice, comments, information, opinions on methods and materials and generally get good feedback.
Just because you've put a lot of thought into something doesn't make it a good idea or a workable proposition. People in the UK have smaller houses and gardens than elsewhere so won't be interested in the costs or storage implications of having several different sized watering trays and I think you might find that making it from plastic, recycled, recyclable or otherwise, will go against it.

Well yes Canada is where Dragons Den started . I have heard its very hard to get ionto that show however, and that they are all booked up for the next couple years I think it was. I will probably sell them for about 43-$8 maybe depending on size and exactly how many details I will add into to it . Since they are selling those microwave covers for only $1.25 plus tax here ,Im sure I can get these made quite cheap, since they will be quite similar, or some will be.
