The vac had stopped working, so I cleaned the brush bar and emptied it, and now back in working order. Gave myself a haircut and used my plastic hair guide to make sure I'm cutting at the right angle. Pottering this afternoon and then watching the snooker for a short while. Pang hope you've had some relief for your wrist poor girl. MU I love malt loaf, occasionally buy from a bakery when in the area.
Chive I am pleased with haircut . My hairdresser is very good .I am shattered . My sister in-laws was on the phone for nearly an hour .She rang to tell me I had sent my cousins Christmas card to her .My sis in-laws lives eight miles away . My cousin lives miles away in Cornwall. Must have been tired to put the wrong address on.
Runners, please can you send your cubby man down the tunnel. I could find a few jobs for him to do. I actually got an hour's work done in the garden today and the green bin is three quarters full. That was when the outside temperature was pleasant. I think it might be cold here tonight judging by my thermometer feet!
Ruby your sis-in-law sounds like my youngest sister. I could decorate the whole of my front room whilst talking to her. I hope she posted the card forward to your cousin.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Rebecca I have just had a knock on the door from a milkman asking if I would like my milk delivered. He delivers 3 days a week. I have tried one in the past but he was useless. I am giving him a go as I would far prefer my milk in glass bottles as opposed to plastic. I will let you know how I go on. He also does free range eggs - a thing I will keep in mind.
p.s. I meant to say that my 'sco doesn't stock that cat food you told me about. Boo!

LB it will be nice for you to have glass milk bottles on the doorstep, although it's a van these days and not the old fashioned floats we were used to, and eggs too straight from the farm. Good memories.
