My aunt Kathleen had an outside loo like that all her life . She had an indoor upstairs toilet but kept the outside one for her mum ,so that she wouldn’t have to climb the stairs during the day .Debs there are plenty of ( how to knit) books on the market , if you want to learn . Also most knitters would be happy to help .
Love love love that little toilet M-U. The hurricane lamp is just perfect. My grandparents used cludgie Ruby. I think its come from north of the border. My Grandad was from Aberdeen and he always called it that but it wasn't as posh as M-U's. A wooden plank with two holes in it over a pit. Bits of newspaper on string hooked over a bent nail - no Izal.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Love that MU, are there little squares of newspaper torn up on a nail? MND is a horrible disease and mom doesn’t have the mental strength to cope so it’s been a difficult year but I do try to stay positive. Really looking forward to the bonfire we have a gazebo we can use if necessary. LB bet you are excited about rugby tomorrow Ruben I may look into knitting books I think it’s always good to learn new skills. Those cute knitted teddies have inspired me to have a go.
