Hello Ruby. It seems to have been dark here since about 14:00. Working on the dark wreath is difficult in poor light. I need to carry on with the little coat for the new baby next door.

I've had a lovely day catching up with an old friend today.  We had scampi and chips and a good chat.  She is feeling much improved and it was lovely to see her.  A welcome to November.  Ante I'm pleased your helper is on the mend and that you have had a good crop this year.  Your food always sounds delicious.  It's been quite a foggy and wet day and it seems set to continue.    LB your c cake will be maturing nicely in the weeks to come.  Chive hope you've had a good day.  Joyce have you something warming for tea.  Trophies I hope your feeling somewhat better.  Metatone is good if you feel a bit run down.

LB it is difficult knitting dark wool in this light . I have a floor standing articulated lamp that stands behind my chair . I often forget to use it . It is very useful for the darker days .

I'll have to bite the bullet and invest in one of those Ruby. Here are the critters and other bits I got today - including a free gift of a tiny dog (Pekinese) and a grey cat who I have to say looks a LITTLE bit scary with its red eyes:

Thank you for that information Ruby. I have been thinking about one of those for long enough. Its time I did something about it!

PF - you are right. An odd little ditty but it definitely got my feet tapping.

Hi all, dark cold evening again but I think a bit warmer than the last few days. Tesco have all their Christmas cards out now Halloween is over but I suppose it’s not too long now.
LB love those little creatures anything miniature is always so cute isn’t it?
Rubee so clever of you to knit it’s not a talent I have I keep meaning to learn but not sure how I would go about it

Hi Debs. I've always liked miniatures of anything. I was sorry to hear of the ongoing struggle with your Mom. It must be very difficult. I hope that the weather is kind for your bonfire on Sunday but so far it isn't sounding promising.
