Poor @wild edges. I hope he got back to sleep.  :'(
I've seen harvestmen that looked a bit smaller, but they must grow very  quickly or something. I might have to look that up and find out...

I got more sleep than the previous night in the end anyway :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Better than nowt @wild edges, although it never seems like it at the time.
I looked up the harvestmen, and they spend a fair bit of time going through 'nymph' stages before emerging as full grown beasts.
I think we don't notice them much, because they lurk in dark places most of the time. I moved a pot the other day, which had been there for ages, and one hurried out and scurried in behind something else. Makes sense I suppose  :)

The man with the scary BB voice has stopped worrying about my non existent BT internet connection and is now concerned about my tax situation. He is so worried that he has even left a message on my answer phone.
It also appears that I have a slight problem with my non existent PayPal account. They have emailed me to help sort it out

Does it work for keeping toddlers asleep too?
No, but enough snifters and the missus will be the only one to hear them if they wake up. :D

    what's that all about😕?
No bubble and squeak no sautee potatoes no shepherd's pie😮

Makes as much sense as the 'Best Before' date on bags of spuds.

Anyone heard this before,  my step daughter has been told that new babies mustn't be in the car for more than 2 hours,   I couldn’t wait to get travelling when my daughter was born, as a new baby she travelled from London to Yorkshire.
She didn’t think she could come to see us as it may take more than two hours.
Are ‘they’ purposely trying to cause anxieties in young mums.

Maybe they mean in a car park in a heat wave. They should just about be cooked by then.

  • I thinl it's to do with the baby's back alignment in a modern baby car seat. My two travelled in a carrycot in the car. This is much better for the baby's back but terrible in the event of a crash. Perhaps plan a journey with plenty of breaks so that each stretch is less than 2 hours?
