Are you referring to another thread by any chance @wild edges I couldn't cope with it I thought all shops had to charge for bags? I got two hydrangeas form a nursery in Kent the other day, and they arrived with plastic bags round the pots. Biodegradeable bags. Ok - so they probably can't go in with normal compost as such, but they can be kept with other 'slower' stuff. The P. Nyssen bulb bags are also compostable. If these folk can do it, why can't these huge conglomerates?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
It's worse in England Fairygirl because the shops close at 4pm due that ridiculous rule. 24 hour shops aren't actually 24/7 shops like in Scotland. Why say you're 24 hours when you're not actually!?
We can't upset the christians who think we should all be in church.
A snide remark there Hostafan. Blaming religion for shutting up shop?
Not a snide remark at all. A simple statement of fact. The Sunday Trading Act is which forces shops to shut on Easter Sunday too
